‘THIS MIGHT NOT BE APPROPRIATE’
opens this Thursday the 19th of September at 18h00
at the Vanhaerents Galleries
‘THIS MIGHT NOT BE APPROPRIATE’ is an exhibition produced by JDS Architects as a selection of the office work from the last 12 years, at the time when Julien De Smedt initiates a new design capacity: Makers With Agendas. This exhibition conflates the role of the architect with that of the “maker” – one who actively engages with the culture of manufacturing and dissemination of designed artifacts in addition to the craft and functionality of our designed environment
Established around the thematic of urban activation the show will unfold our working methods through models, projections, sketches or specifically crafted installations.
The Vanhaerents Galleries consists of a series of exhibition spaces, newly completed by JDS, in the heart of Brussels, at the crossing of the rue de la Senne and the Rue des Fabriques.
