Art schools are now changing. These places of theoretical and technical development are moving towards a new art form where research, testing, manufacturing process and demonstration become the work itself.
Building on the school curriculum, we propose to create an Art Center. Part of the premise that art is a discipline that requires interaction with the public, our design approach is based on the idea of offering the public to “flirt” with the production process by providing visual and spatial experiences through architectural promiscuity.
The project is considered as an invitation to stroll, punctuated by exhibition spaces and meeting spaces, suggesting that the heart of a School of Art is in constant relationship to the outside.
