OFFICE MANAGER IN BRUSSELS

JDS Architects seeks an experienced office manager for its Belgian agency.   Your primary tasks will be overseeing and administrating all office financials, preparing and negotiating client proposals and pre-qualification dossiers and coordinating  staff.

Requirements: Fluent abilities in English and French.  Flemmish is a strong bonus.  A Bachelor/Master degree in Architecture, Law, Business Administration or other relevant studies.

INTERNS

JDS Architects is currently seeking ambitious and motivated architectural Interns for our offices in Brussels and Copenhagen.
At JDS, you will be engaged in serious projects and rigorous responsibilities ranging from sketch design studies to final presentation materials . Potential competition or commission project involvements fall within residential, commercial, culture, retail, leisure sectors, and design. The training period will require you to learn and be part of a contemporary architecture firm and develop skills that are unknown or new to you.

Requirements: Autocad, Rhino3D, Creative Suite package and model making skills.

CONSTRUCTION ARCHITECT

with 3+ years experience in Copenhagen.

Requirements: proven experience in the construction phase preferably in China, knowledge of international building codes, and excellent skills in Autocad and the Adobe Creative Suite.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO JULIEN DE SMEDT

JDS Architects is looking for a personal assistant to Julien De Smedt in the Brussels office. Your primary tasks will be arranging meetings and travel engagements, overseeing general office administration as well as a communications role assisting PR with writing, translation and publishing content on the JDS website and relevant social media outlets.

The ideal candidate:
-Speaks and writes fluent English and French, Dutch is a definite advantage.
-Can handle multiple tasks in high stress, time sensitive scenarios with ease.
-Is flexible with working hours when the unexpected situation arises.
-Is familiar with MS Office–Adobe CS package and/or HTML knowledge is a big plus.
-Self motivated and good humored.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPER MANAGER

JDS Architects is currently seeking a candidate for the position as International Business Developer for our business development department, who can be responsible for developing and assessing potential international projects, pre-qualifications and market research.  Position available in Brussels or Copenhagen.

PRODUCT DESIGN INTERN

You will join the product design team in Copenhagen, as a support for intensive research, idea investigation, concept development, detailed design and creating high quality presentation materials. Projects you will be involved in, have a focus on industrial, furniture and interior design. The training period will require you to learn and be part of a contemporary architecture and design firm and develop skills that are unknown or new to you.

Requirements: Strong 3D and rendering skills, knowledgeable in the Adobe Creative Suite package, ability to sketch and build mock-ups.
