FAB / Faaborg Sea Bath

The concept of the sea bath at the southern end of Fyn is based on the idea of creating an open bathing area made with piers branching out seawards. The various functions define every pier. This outlines a ‘finger plan’ with open basins between three bridges of different width and length, where each bridge offers a new way to get into the water.
The wooden piers form ramps, stairs, sitting and swimming opportunities. The actual buildings on land have changing rooms, kayak storages, a sauna and a meeting point for boat tourism.
