COMA / Copenhagen-Malmö Vision

KBH Magazine asked JDS a vision for the Øresund region, Copenhagen and Malmö.  Our vision resulted in the mega-Venice of Scandinavia.  In recent years commerce between Copenhagen and Malmö (COMA) has exploded, and the stream of people across the Øresunds Bridge has almost caused the two cities to merge into one metropolis.

The City of Copenhagen asked JDS to visualise one of their long term ideas for the growing relationship between Copenhagen and Malmo.  Our efforts resulted in the mega-Venice of Scandinavia.  In recent years commerce between Copenhagen and Malmo (COMA) has exploded, and the stream of people across the Øresunds Bridge has almost caused the two cities to merge into one metropolis.  What are project also imagines is the possibility of their continued future growth to merge the two cities physically.  Thereby a new coastal metropolis could be realized, acting as a hub for business, transportation, trade, tourism, and culture.
